DAO
NeuroAI operates on a decentralized governance model, giving NEURO token holders the power to influence the platform’s evolution. This model ensures that decisions are made transparently and in alignment with the needs of the community.
By holding NEURO tokens, you gain a direct stake in the platform's future and the ability to propose, vote, and decide on important changes.
Voting Power
Voting power is based on the amount of NEURO tokens held by each user. The more tokens a user holds, the greater their influence over platform decisions.
Token Holders: All NEURO holders can participate in governance.
Proportional Voting: Your voting power increases with the number of tokens you own.
Proposals
Anyone holding at least 100,000 NEURO tokens (1% of the total supply) can create a proposal. Proposals are ideas for new features, improvements, or platform-wide changes.
Minimum Proposal Amount: 100,000 NEURO tokens (1% of supply).
Locked Tokens: The proposal creator locks their tokens in the DAO contract until the proposal is voted on.
Voting Process
Eligibility: All NEURO holders can vote.
Voting Weight: Votes are weighted based on the number of NEURO tokens held.
Multiple Votes: Token holders can cast votes on multiple proposals at once.
Voting Requirements
Quorum: At least 5% of the total NEURO supply must participate in the vote for it to be valid.
Majority: A proposal must have more "yes" votes than "no" votes to pass.
Outcome of Proposals
Status
Conditions
Outcome
Passed
Meets 5% quorum and majority yes
The proposal is implemented.
Failed
Doesn’t meet quorum or lacks majority yes
The proposal is rejected.
Resubmission
Proposals can be resubmitted for reconsideration
Adjustments can be made and proposed again.
Flow of Proposals and Voting
Here’s how the proposal and voting process looks in simple steps:
Create Proposal The proposal creator locks 100,000 NEURO tokens into the DAO contract.
Proposal Goes Live The proposal is made available for voting.
Vote on Proposal NEURO token holders vote. Voting power is proportional to the number of tokens held.
Quorum and Majority Check If 5% of the supply votes and a majority is in favor, the proposal is accepted.
Outcome If the proposal passes, it’s implemented. If it fails, the tokens are returned to the creator, and the proposal can be resubmitted.
